HYC EMAIL ADDRESS CHANGE
In order to serve us better, Qwest has changed our email address. Our new email address is heartlandyouthch@qwestoffice.net. For the next several months messages sent to our old address will automatically be forwarded to the new address, but please make the change in your address book now. We don't want to miss any messages from you! And be patient with us as we change all of our forms.
FLOWER FAIR
Remember that flower pick up is when you drop your singer at the WorldSongs final rehearsal on Saturday, April 26. If you cannot be there, please make arrangements with another family to pick up your order for you.
TOUR MEETING
There will be a tour meeting at the end of rehearsal next week, April 3, starting at 7:15. All singers and chaperons need to be present for this meeting. (You will have food choices to make!) We will distribute a more complete itinerary as we now have all details in place. If your family is "shadowing" us on tour but not riding the bus, we need to know for which excursions you wish to be included in our group rates. We will also have the name and contact info for the hotel we are staying at in Omaha in case you want to stay at the same place. This tour is going to be FUN! Please make all tour payments on time, so that we can make our payments and deposits on time!
COOKIE DOUGH/PIZZA SALES
Tonight you received information on selling tubs of cookie dough and tubs of personal pizzas. Proceeds from this sale go into your individual touring accounts. These are easy items to sell and the profit margin is good. Each tub of cookie dough sells for $13 and $5.20 goes into your account. A tub of five personal-size pizzas sells for $15 and $6 goes into your account. Orders and money are due at your rehearsal on April 17. You will pick up your orders at the final WorldSongs rehearsal on Saturday, April 26. (This is also the time you pick up your Flower Fair orders, so make sure you have ample space in your vehicle for both orders!)
PERFORMANCE FOR CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION COUNCIL & CASA
Cantilena has been invited to perform at the Light of Hope Ceremony for the Child Abuse Prevention Council & CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) on Thursday, April 17. (This performance is roughly the same time as Cadet rehearsal, so those families with singers in both choirs may need to make some carpool arrangements.) The ceremony will be in Hill Auditorium which is right inside the main entrance of Blank Children's Hospital. You will have a short rehearsal in the auditorium immediately after the ceremony. Then those of you who are touring need to go home and pack! The uniform for the performance is formal. See Upcoming Events for the schedule.
